Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I have always had an interest in art and love to explore all different art forms. I discovered my passion for photography when I took a photography class at the Art Institute in 2008, while majoring in Graphic Design.
Although I loves photography and capturing special moments in life that fly by way too fast, my ultimate love is God! When she accepted Christ in 2008, she knew she had to be a missionary to orphans in Africa. This is a passion I am bathing in prayer until the day comes that my family can go!
When I’m not behind the camera, I love spending time with my husband Jesse and two precious daughters, Selah and Miah. I would consider myself the most blessed woman in the world to be surrounded by so much love!
How did you get started in photography?
In 2010 a friend asked me to take their engagement photos with her camera. This terrified me as I was not a photographer, she assumed since I loved art I would be good at photography. From that point on my friend and I started taking pictures together for a couple of years. Those first few years was birthed with some growing pains of learning the camera and editing process. I started my official business Image Bearer Photography last summer and have since decided that I LOVE senior photography.
